In order to ensure the safe operation of construction lifting machinery and curb the occurrence of safety production accidents, the Urban Construction Bureau of Zaoyang City, Hubei Province has recently established two special inspection teams to conduct special inspections of construction lifting machinery on construction sites of construction enterprises in the city. The Municipal Urban Construction Bureau has inspected 15 construction projects in progress, including 22 tower cranes, 13 construction elevators, and 5 material elevators, focusing on the registration and filing of the use of construction lifting machinery, legal inspection reports, "one machine, one file" materials, safety inspection records, technical disclosure, operating conditions, and certified operators. 75 safety hazards have been identified. In response to the existing problems, 15 rectification notices were issued and 1 on-site penalty was imposed. The Municipal Urban Construction Bureau requires that the relevant responsible parties of construction enterprises' construction sites fully understand the current safety production situation of construction lifting machinery and equipment, strengthen safety responsibility awareness, implement safety production responsibilities, and effectively standardize management. And taking the hidden dangers exposed during this special inspection as the starting point, we will comprehensively investigate safety hazards from point to area, draw inferences from one example, and form a work pattern of "horizontally to the edge, vertically to the bottom, and leaving no dead corners", laying a safety guarantee for the upcoming winter construction.
