Maintenance of electric hoist wire rope:

　　1. The edge of the pulley used for electric hoists should not be cracked or chipped.

　　2. During movement, the steel wire rope should not rub against other objects, nor should it be dragged diagonally with the edges of the steel plate to prevent the edges of the steel plate from cutting the steel wire rope and directly affecting its service life.

　　3. When using steel wire ropes on high-temperature objects, insulation measures must be taken, as the strength of the steel wire rope will be greatly reduced after being exposed to high temperatures.

　　4. During the use of electric hoists, the strength of their steel wire ropes must be regularly checked, and generally a comprehensive inspection or strength test must be conducted at least once every six months.

　　5. During use, overloading is strictly prohibited and should not be subjected to impact. When bundling or lifting objects, attention should be paid not to make the steel wire rope directly contact the sharp edges of the object. Wooden boards, canvas, gunny bags, or other cushioning materials should be placed at their contact points to prevent the sharp edges of the object from damaging the steel wire rope and causing equipment and personal accidents.

　　6. During the use of electric hoists, if the length is insufficient, shackles must be used for connection. It is strictly prohibited to use the end of the steel wire rope to thread thin steel wire rope to connect and lift objects, in order to avoid the shear force caused by this.

　　7. After the electric hoist has been used for a period of time, the wire rope must be lubricated to prevent the wire rope from rusting. On the other hand, during the use of the wire rope, the wires in the same strand between each strand of the wire rope will generate Sliding friction with each other, especially when the wire rope is subjected to bending force, this friction is more exciting, and the friction can be reduced by adding lubricating oil.

　　8. When storing steel wire ropes, clean the dirt on the ropes according to the above method, apply lubricating oil, and then coil them. Store them in a dry place, and place wooden boards or sleepers under the steel wire ropes for regular inspection.

　　9. During the use of steel wire ropes, special attention should be paid to preventing them from coming into contact with welding wires. Due to electric shock, the steel wire rope may be damaged, affecting the smooth progress of the operation.

　　10. Pay attention to checking for any breakage or damage and whether it is used, or replace the rope with a new one to ensure safety.
