Electric hoist is a small lifting equipment integrating motor, reducer and wire rope drum (or chain), most of which are also equipped with traveling trolley to cooperate with single beam bridge or gantry crane to form a complete lifting machinery. 　　The main body of the wire rope electric hoist is the wire rope drum centered, with one end being an electric motor. Through the middle rotating shaft, the power is transmitted to the reducer at the other end, which drives the drum (or chain) wire rope to lift. Nowadays, the electric motors of electric hoists mostly use conical rotor motors, which can self brake when power is cut off.
