A rack jack is composed of components such as a rack, gear, and handle. It uses a rack as a rigid lifting component and has a rotating head above the rack to place the lifted load. When using a rack jack, simply shake the handle and the teeth will drive the rack up or down, thus achieving the lifting or lowering of heavy objects. Sometimes the lifted load can also be placed on the side lugs, but in this case, special attention needs to be paid to the fact that the rack is subjected to an eccentric load, so the allowable lifting capacity can only be half of the rated lifting weight.

　　In order to support the load it is lifting and prevent landing due to its own weight, a safety crank device should be installed.
