Improvement of electric hoist agent steel wire rope

  A certain textile factory commonly uses two types of electric hoists, CD and TV, in casting production. However, accidents often occur when steel wire ropes are squeezed into the gaps at both ends of the rolling mill during use. Light cases may crush the steel wire rope, while heavy cases may cause damage to the parts and affect normal production.

  After repeated research on this issue, it was found that the main reason was the excessive gap between the two ends of the drum, which created conditions for the extrusion of the steel wire rope. Therefore, a baffle plate has been welded on the inner sides of both ends of the shell, reducing the gap between the inner holes of the flange plates at both ends of the original shell and the outer diameter of the drum from about 10mm to about 3mm (as shown in the figure below), thus completely solving the problem of squeezing steel wire ropes for the two types of electric hoists mentioned above. Improvement method: Firstly, measure the inner diameter of the shell and the outer diameter of the drum, as well as the gap between the drum and the flange plates at both ends, and process the baffle plate based on the measured dimensions. The outer diameter of the baffle should be 3-1mm smaller than the inner diameter of the shell, and the inner hole of the baffle should be 5-7m larger than the outer diameter of the drum. The thickness is generally 3-1mm larger than the measured size. When making, it is advisable to note that the thickness of the steel wire rope pressing plate end should not hinder the installation of the pressing plate, but the position of the pressing plate screw hole can also be changed.

  The patterns used in sand casting machine modeling are generally made of metal materials. During the use of metal patterns, there may be scratches, defects, and other issues. The machine should be immediately shut down for repair to avoid affecting the quality of the molding and casting. Usually, welding and adhesive repair methods are used for repair, but these methods are cumbersome, costly, and require a long repair cycle, which can take several hours to complete, thus affecting the normal production process.
