  As the main lifting mechanism of wire rope electric hoist, whether the wire rope is in normal state plays a very important role in whether the wire rope electric hoist operates normally. There are four main situations where wire ropes affect the use of wire rope electric hoists:

  1、 Small diameter of wire rope: it is easy to reduce the Factor of safety of wire rope. The specific reason is that the corresponding model of steel wire rope was not selected according to the requirements of the electric hoist user manual; The second reason is that excessive wear during use leads to a smaller diameter of the steel wire rope.

  2、 The fixing of the rope end of the steel wire rope on the electric hoist is not standardized. One is that there are less than three pressure plates fixed on the drum at the rope end of the steel wire rope; The second issue is that the rope end of the steel wire rope is fixed by an electric hoist with a wedge block, and the rope end of the steel wire rope on the side of the wedge block is not fixed by a rope clamp. These problems can easily cause the rope end of the steel wire rope to fall off from the electric hoist of the steel wire rope.

  3、 When the elevator cage is located at the bottom station, the remaining number of turns of the steel wire rope on the drum is less than 3, which increases the risk of the steel wire rope being rolled back or even broken by the electric hoist during the operation of the elevator. 4、 Broken wire, broken strand. The suspension cage of a forced lift runs up and down between two rigid vertical guide rails, with only two degrees of freedom in each direction, while the rope angle of the electric hoist changes with the movement of the rope guide. This will deviate from the plumb line of the suspension point of the cage, inevitably causing the wire rope to collide with the hook pulley cover, rope guide, and other devices, resulting in wire breakage. In addition, the fatigue wear during use will also lead to wire breakage, which will reduce the Factor of safety of wire rope.
