Characteristics of gear pumps in hydraulic jacks
Hydraulic jacks, also known as hydraulic jacks, have a simple and portable structure, making them the preferred choice for many users. Below, Shanghai Engineering will introduce the characteristics of the main accessory "gear pump" in hydraulic jacks.
The structural characteristics of the gear pump equipped with hydraulic jacks refer to the adoption of measures to improve volumetric efficiency, thereby increasing the working pressure of the gear pump.
The main contradiction lies in taking structural measures to reduce axial clearance:
1. Ensure reasonable axial assembly clearance and control it within 002-004mm.
2. Use floating side plates or floating shaft sleeves to compensate for axial clearance.
3. Adopting a structure that compresses and deforms the side plate to reduce axial clearance.
The oil inlet chamber of the gear pump is non pressurized, while the oil outlet is pressurized and has a higher pressure. Due to the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the oil, there is inevitably internal leakage, and the higher the pressure, the more severe the internal leakage. There are three locations for internal leakage: the end face of the gear, the tooth tip circle, and the gear teeth. Among them, the axial clearance leakage at the end face is the largest, accounting for 70% -80% of the total oil leakage. Therefore, in order to improve the working pressure of the gear pump, some measures to improve volumetric efficiency and reduce leakage have been adopted structurally.
