Heavy load rotary table bearings are often in a state of high stress when working, and the rotary table bearings are very sensitive to high stress. Therefore, all aspects of application technology should strive to reduce the stress of the rotary table bearings, and the reduction of stress is very conducive to extending the service life of the rotary table bearings.
For example, in a high load machine, when the axial position allows, the single rotary table bearing of the original fulcrum is doubled to two to withstand radial loads. Despite the influence of uneven load, under the same workpiece conditions, the lifespan of the two rotary table bearings of the fulcrum is expected to be much more than twice that of the original single rotary table bearing.
In fact, in heavy machinery, multiple rotary table bearings or multiple rows of rotary table bearings are often used at one fulcrum to withstand radial loads.
1. The fit, clearance, and lubrication of the rotary table bearings must be considered uniformly. In order to alleviate the stress of heavy-duty rotary table bearings, it is hoped that the lubrication film layer is thicker. Therefore, it is preferred to use lubricating oil with higher viscosity or lubricating grease with higher viscosity as the base oil. At the same time, it is hoped that under the condition of ensuring good lubrication, the friction torque caused by lubricant viscosity should not be too high. The fit interference of the rotating ring of the heavy-duty rotary table bearing is larger than that of the normal situation, which has a negative impact on the deformation of the raceway and even the lifespan of the rotary table bearing. Therefore, it is hoped that the interference amount can be appropriately reduced if possible. This requires reducing the roughness of the mating surface while maintaining normal lubrication. In the event of lubrication failure, the excessive friction moment on the raceway surface under heavy load will strengthen the peristalsis trend of the mating surface, and even lead to slipping, Although these phenomena often occur in the outer circle, they are also unavoidable in the inner circle in severe cases. The actual fit of the outer ring should not have excessive clearance to prevent grease from seeping into the surface, causing slipping and making the ring prone to deformation, reducing the bearing area of the rotary table bearing.
2. From the perspective of host design, it is recommended to improve the usage conditions of rotary table bearings. All transmission shafts in the host's transmission chain should be appropriately set at a higher speed until they reach the main shaft and then decrease to the working speed. The installation components left for the main shaft rotary table bearings should also be larger to facilitate the selection of larger rotary table bearings, which are beneficial for the rotary table bearings.
